A festive buzz fills Eureka School…

Today, everything feels just a little different at Eureka School.
The hallways echo with cheerful voices, classrooms are alive with discussions of fairy tales and stories, and in the hands of our students are books that have become the most meaningful gifts of the day.

February 19 is not just another date for us.
It marks the birthday of Hovhannes Tumanyan and, at the same time, Book Giving Day.

Today at Eureka, books are “in motion.”
One student gifts a book to a friend, another to a teacher, someone reads their favorite story aloud, while in several classrooms Tumanyan’s tales are being discussed as if the students themselves are the heroes of the story.

Tumanyan once again “comes alive” in our school —
through children’s smiles, role-plays, recitations, and the joy of reading.

This day reminds us of something truly important:
a book is not just paper and letters…
it is an entire world that you can share with someone else.

Happy Tumanyan Day
Happy Book Giving Day
